Hawkspring is a charity that offers an whole family approach to addiction and is committed to reducing drug and alcohol related harm, using tools and techniques to empower and support our clients through a recovery journey.
Hawkspring changed its name in 2013 following a merger and was previously known at Hawks & Kwads, we have 30+ years combined experience of providing addiction services and supporting people across south Bristol. Since Hawkspring began 1,300 people have benefitted from our support services.
We are based in the heart of the Hartcliffe community, (Whitchurch Park ward) which is currently the number 1 most deprived part of Bristol and 8 out of the top 10 most deprived areas in Bristol are in the South surrounding us.
Demands for our support services are increasing and people in crisis turn to us on a daily basis.
We dont currently receive any government or local authority funding, so rely on donations and grants to fund this vital work.
